Frequently Asked Questions
GENERAL SICKNESS
If your child or someone in your household is experiencing any of the following symptoms within 24 hours of your visit, we ask that you keep your child at home
so as to not expose Santas, our staff, and/or other children. Symptoms include but are not limited to: fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, lice, eye infection, and/or concussion.
RESCHEDULING
In the event that you are unable to keep your appointment either due to general sickness or an unexpected scheduling conflict, please reach out as soon as possible.

If there are available sessions showing on our website, you can reschedule yourself! To do so, access your “booking confirmation email” sent via Acuity (our online scheduling system). At the bottom of that email, click the icon that says ‘View Appointment Details’. You will then be prompted with available opening(s) and steps to complete rescheduling.
Cancelation policy- Kitt Creative requires a 48-hour notice for cancellations. Clients have the option to (a) reschedule to another 2024 Santa’s workshop session time (if appointments are available) or (b) request a partial refund (All but the non-refundable $75 reservation fee would be refunded to the payment method used at booking).

Infants
In short, it is up to the comfort level of the family whether you would prefer Santa to hold/carry your child.
We ask that parents/guardians of newborns (or babies who are unable to sit) please be prepared to join in the photographs by holding/carrying your child *if* it is not your preference for
Santa to hold your child. Our set will have several family-friendly areas intended for your comfort.
Choosing Images
To minimize the total number of individuals in the studio as well as your family’s time in the studio, we are pivoting toward an online favorites gallery.
(See below).
Timeline
Here is a timeline of the process:
- On the first of September at 12AM each year, our booking calendar will be released. Book your session with Santa! Booking does go quickly.
- Session: Enjoy the magic of your visit with Santa at our studio. **Order PLATINUM by telling your hostess that you would like this package and receive an invoice that day**
- Within two days of your session: You will receive an online “Highlights” gallery from your session.(Note: If you have chosen the Platinum package, you will bypass and move forward to step 5).
- After receiving your “Highlights” gallery, you will have 2 days to select your favorite images and submit them for editing.
You may select the 12 images that you secured with the Holly Package at booking (see above) or you may upgrade to a larger package. Once you submit your selected images, the editing process can begin.
**If you upgrade to a different package, you will receive an email invoice within 24 hours after selecting your final images!** - Within 14 business days of submitting payment: a new link to an edited gallery will be shared with you.
FORGOT to choose
If you forget to choose your images within 2 days of recieving your "BEST OF" gallery, our staff will choose for you.
As you have already secured the Holly package, we want to ensure that you receive your 12 edited images in a timely manner.
TURNAROUND
We hope to share your edited gallery within two weeks of submitting final payment.
CHRISTMAS IN SEPTEMBER!?
Due to the demand, we transitioned to offering sessions exclusively in October and November back in 2018.
This helped ensure a workflow that returns edited images to clients no later than early December, depending on the date of their session.
As of the 2020 season (in light of COVID-19), the daily number of sessions was reduced by half.
This change fostered ample time between sessions for cleaning/sanitizing as well as reduced the total number of people at the studio at any given time.
As a result, our season going forward will be more spread out.
INVESTMENT
Once your session is booked, you have officially secured your appointment time and the Holly Package.
The Holly Package includes 12 edited images. Once you have received your HIGHLIGHTS gallery, you may choose to keep the 12 images as is or upgrade to a larger package.
Your investment reserves your very own Santa's workshop experience! Come and enjoy the magic as your family exclusively visits with Santa.
The set is designed for children and adults to experience walking through a Christmas land as you help Santa in his workshop, ask him questions, and tell him your Christmas wishes.
The set that you walk through has been designed to create those timeless moments for photography.
PAYMENTS
To reserve your session, the Holly package will be secured at the time of booking. Our online booking system accepts all major credit cards.
Please note the session experience includes your 15-minute visit with Santa as well as the Holly Package of 12 digital files.
After your session, there are two options to move forward. In the studio after your visit with Santa, you may speak with a manager re: upgrading to the PLATINUM package and an
invoice will be sent to you the same day. This bypasses the favoriting process and you are provided an edited gallery of the BEST OF. Alternatively, within 2 business days of your session,
if you desire, you may upgrade your package to include more digital files. In that event, an email invoice via Square would be shared with you. Once full payment has been made, the editing process can begin.

UPGRADE
At the time of your session, you may let the manager know that you would like the Platinum package.
You will then be sent an invoice for the upgrade. After payment has been made, your collection will be curated and edited.
The other upgrade option is available after you receive your HIGHLIGHTS gallery. You may upgrade to either the Jolly or Christmas package.
Please note that the editing process can only begin once full payment has begun. You will then receive your edited gallery within 14 business days of payment being made.
PLATINUM PACKAGE
Want a professionally curated collection of images that tell the story of your visit? Trying to gift photos to family and need your edited images expedited?
Then this package is for you! The Platinum Package is ONLY available onsite after your session by informing the manager that you would like to purchase this package.
At that time you will be sent an email invoice. Once full payment has been made, the editing process can begin!
DIGITAL-FILE
Our packages are designed to provide the client with high-resolution digital files (jpegs) to keep for years to come. You will have all printing rights.
Once the images have been purchased, edited, and shared with you via an online gallery, the images are then yours to download, keep, share, print, enjoy!
PARKING
We are located at 810 Caroline Street on the 3rd Floor. From the street, enter the purple doors to the lobby. Make your way straight back to the steep, green steps.
Walk up the steps until you get to the 3rd floor. Our studio is the entire 3rd floor. If you are traveling with a stroller, please note that we have steep stairs leading to the studio.
You may park your stroller in the lobby of our building, if you wish. Parking: Free 2-hour street parking is available or you may utilize the free, unlimited parking in the lot on Sophia Street.
OUTFITS
We encourage clients to wear what they feel confident and comfortable in -- whether it’s their annual Christmas pajamas or their Christmas best!
During sessions, we do not allow for outfit changes due to the appointment length and concerns for privacy, as well.
PETS
Animals are not allowed in our studio. If you wish to schedule a portrait session including your pets, we’d love to
accommodate them during our outdoor portrait sessions or by scheduling an appointment at your home (January-August). Please contact us at kittcreative@gmail.com

SANTA
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this experience, we cannot guarantee you the same Santa year to year. We are pleased to have Santa Alan, Santa Matt, Santa Rich,
Santa Willie and Santa Matt H as part of our Kitt Creative family.
FAMILY PHOTO
We are often asked if we can take a quick snap of the family (with or without Santa) during their session.
We are happy to do so! We have designed a section of our set with family portraits in mind.
COUSINS
Our 15-minute session experiences are designed for one household. There are no exceptions for this policy.
Separately, please be mindful of the number of guests not being photographed (i.e. grandparents 'watching' the experience) as the studio has limited space.
Due to a full schedule, there is no availability for multi-family photos.
If you book an appointment that doesn't abide by studio policy, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or canceled.
OLDER CHILDREN
Parents of children with a range of ages/stages often write to us about questions regarding including their older children in the session.
Please do! For example, we’ve had older brothers/sisters in the military / college join a younger sibling for their annual visit.
It’s a great opportunity to capture the memories and snag some photos for your Christmas card! Please encourage your older children to join us in the fun as we make this a magical
experience for all those who believe!
ADULTS
You’d be surprised how many adults join us for their own visit with Santa -- without any children present. It’s a blast! We have some couples who choose a theme every year,
some couples who use their pictures for Christmas cards…. We welcome any Santa-loving human!
